William Darkdrac

Artist William Darkdrac

William Darkdrac (b. 1995, Barcelona, Spain) is a multidisciplinary artist. His work revolves around light, perception, and the tension between presence and absence, for which he has developed an intricate and precise visual language. He explains it as a way of connecting with reality and disconnecting from it at the same time, when he navigates the blurred space between what we see and what we feel.

His paintings explore urban mysticism and ephemeral moments, often depicting figures illuminated by artificial light, fragmented compositions, and suspended atmospheres. Themes such as memory, mysticism, and the deconstruction of identity are central to his work, which continues to evolve as he pushes his practice in new directions. Through his art, he aims to create work that resonates and sparks curiosity in those who interact with it.

He has exhibited both throughout Spain and internationally, presenting solo and group shows at venues such as Affenfaust Galerie and Nucleus Portland. Darkdrac’s work has also been featured in various media outlets, including Overstandard and Munchies Art Club.
