Marlon Bellet
Marlon Bellet (b. 1999, Frankfurt, Germany) is an artist whose work thrives on references and visual storytelling. Deeply inspired by comic books, science fiction, and anime, his art often ventures into the realm of the fantastical. He is especially drawn to imaginative, otherworldly settings, where he brings his narrative universe to life. Bellet has developed a unique collection of symbols and lore that repeatedly surfaces in his pieces, giving his work character and distinctive quality.
His inspiration doesn't come from a single source, but from a myriad of sensory impressions in everyday life. It can be observations on the street, visual impulses from his surroundings, or the culture he consumes himself: comics, anime, video games, pop culture, history, fantasy, and science fiction. These elements become a kind of raw material that Marlon transforms into a visual language - a language that mixes the everyday with the fantastic, often drawing on his own self-created mythology.
Bellet’s work has been shown on multiple occasions across Europe, and he recently graduated from AdBK Münich, earning his diploma in fine arts.
